https://mail.puiij.com/index.php/research/article/view/229

A baby's birth has many positive, challenging and often tiring consequences for a family. One of the biggest problems new parents encounter is sleep problems, which not only can impact the health of the baby, but the physical and emotional health of the caregivers. More recently, a new type of nursery technology has been developed which integrates automated soothing, continuous monitoring and data analysis of sleep into a single nursery furniture product, which are many times designed to transform to a crib when the child grows. This article will explore the techniques and technologies of these smart sleep systems, how they work and whether or not they are useful for young couples, working parents, large families and even babies. It also examines the business models and economic factors behind the industry such as direct to consumer selling, rental schemes, financing schemes and health savings account eligibility. The article also provides a diplomatic critique of the industry practices, such as affordability through pricing, pushy marketing and sales tactics, reliance on celebrities and the unanswered questions of data privacy. The gaps in the research are identified and the discussion ends with a balanced, forward looking evaluation to assist parents, policy makers and manufacturers to make informed decisions on the future of infant care technology.
Dr. A. https://mail.puiij.com/index.php/research/article/view/230

There is a physical network of copper and fiber cabling, which is usually hidden above ceilings and below floors, behind every video call, security camera feed, hospital record, and financial transaction. If these cables aren't systematically identified, organisations can expect outages, expensive troubleshooting and unnecessary safety hazards. This article reviews the color coding of structured cabling, in which installers use a color scheme for jackets, labels or patch cords to identify different functional groups of cables like user data, voice services, security systems, powered devices, backbone links, and critical emergency circuits. The article describes the techniques and technologies involved discusses measurable operational and economic benefits and points out a major disconnect between formal standard assignments and the application of informal conventions that prevail in the field, based on the administration and cabling standards published under the ANSI/TIA framework, specifically the ANSI/TIA606 administration standard and the ANSI/TIA-568 cabling series. The discussion illustrates that colour coding is not a mere cosmetic choice, but a discipline which can help to minimize downtime, maintenance costs, increase safety and maintain institutional knowledge across technician generations. The article concludes by suggesting that the everyday conventions and published standards can be harmonized and that this should be integrated in professional education, providing long-term value to engineers, managers, organizations and the public.
Dr. A. https://mail.puiij.com/index.php/research/article/view/231

The emissions from enteric methane by the world's 1.5 billion cattle is one of the largest and least tackled sources of agricultural GHGs. Livestock emissions are a critical factor in near term climate outcomes as methane has a global warming potential of approximately 80 times more than carbon dioxide over a 20 year time horizon. This article explores an emerging mitigation pathway natural, seaweed based feed additives that inhibit the formation of CH4 in the rumen. It reviews peer-reviewed trials and meta analyses, dissects the biological mechanism of bromoform containing red seaweed to inhibit methanogenesis, and examines figures of actual reductions, which have been as high as 80% or more in some instances depending on the dose and conditions, as well as the economic case for adoption by smallholder farmers, dairy cooperatives, and corporate producers. The piece also places this technology in the context of changing regulations, such as the first ever livestock emissions tax in the world, which will come into effect in 2030, and the specific advantage for countries with a high number of cattle. Most importantly, it highlights unanswered questions regarding long term effectiveness, animal productivity, food safety and cost. The goal is to provide the public, policy makers and farming communities with fact based and balanced information on a technology that could be important for climate mitigation and for rural livelihoods as well.
Dr. A. https://mail.puiij.com/index.php/research/article/view/232

Acquisitions are usually hailed as growth drivers, but there is a significant minority that are the exact opposite it's a way to kill a future competitor. This article explores the phenomenon of killer acquisitions of smaller innovative firms by established firms, not to develop the acquired firm's projects but to kill them and to prevent the competition. Based on a qualitative synthesis of the peer-reviewed economics and law literature, regulatory reports and documented case evidence, the article elaborates on the reasons for such deals, the blind spots in merger control they exploit and their implications for economies, companies and citizens. The analysis focuses on the key empirical discovery that pharmaceutical projects acquired by firms with overlapping products were approximately 28.6 per cent less likely to be developed, and that an estimated 5.3-7.4 per cent of acquisitions in this sector took the form of a killer, often disguised as an acquisition just below the regulatory notification threshold. The article reviews challenged evidence in the technology industry, the balancing of merger enforcement and startup financing and global policy responses. It highlights the pitfalls of today's business management, discusses the gaps in existing studies,
Dr. A. Shaji George

https://mail.puiij.com/index.php/research/article/view/233

Indian culture is among the oldest and most diverse civilizations globally, recognized for its unbroken continuity, pluralistic ethos, and deep-rooted spiritual philosophies. This paper investigates the core components of Indian culture including its moral ethos, concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam the world is one family, and holistic sciences like Yoga and Ayurveda. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the sociological significance of Indian cultural integration, demonstrating how its principles offer viable solutions to contemporary global challenges such as mental health crises, ecological degradation, and socio-cultural alienation. Indian culture stands as one of the world's oldest continuous civilizations, driven by an adaptable, pluralistic ethos that bridges material progression with spiritual evolution. This study systematically evaluates the core dimensions of Indian culture, philosophical paradigms, performing arts, and holistic sciences to assess their contemporary global utility. A qualitative, thematic literature-based review was executed utilizing classical texts, peer-reviewed socio-cultural analyses, and institutional data from global public health frameworks. The findings demonstrate that concepts like Dharma and Karma foster deep ethical accountability, while performing arts serve as vital conduits for community cohesion. Furthermore, Indian holistic practices like Yoga and Ayurveda significantly lower stress and promote preventative healthcare globally. Indian culture provides a highly adaptive, universal template (summarized by Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) capable of addressing critical 21st-century crises, including mental health degradation, social polarization, and environmental decay.
Dr. Dharmendra Das
